Fun Times with the Schoolmeester's and Friends....
School has started and both girls seem to be really enjoying themselves!! They both have wonderful teachers and we couldn't be more happy! We also had a wonderful labor day weekend (though we missed Daddy terribly, he couldn't come due to it being a football weekend....but that's the Chicken Wing restaurant business in the middle of Gamecock Country).
We also attended our first Dutch Fork High School football game and it was.....well....interesting to say the least. This is how it went:
*First the balloon man decided to stop making balloons one person in front of us after we had been standing in line for 30 minutes, (my friend's daughter was NOT HAPPY.....as to be expected).
*Then two grown men were fighting in the stands over the top of a woman holding her son. Classy guys. Highschool football seems a great reason to beat each other up!!
* Then Lily fell on our way down to the Elementary School parade and busted her leg up pretty good and I might say she handled it pretty well considering what happened next.....
* And the last and GREASTEST part of the evening was after My Oldest and her friend had spent 45 minutes making this beautiful banner celebrating their school and the USA (to commemorate September 11th) and they were PROUDLY holding their banner and having the best time....two other kids from another elementary school (that will remain nameless) ran through the banner and then stomped on it and ran off laughing. Serously it devestated the children.
But we pulled it together and walked in the parade with our banner and made our school proud! All five of the children with us learned a valuable lesson...Be the Bigger Person!!
The adults learned this...
*Next year we will hire our own balloon man to follow us around and make new balloons when ours pop and he will NEVER stop making them
*We will hire teenegers to stand in line for our food and drinks
*We will have the biggest, laminated, most INDESTRUCTABLE sign you have ever seen and we are pretty sure that that is in the PTO budget under spirit wear:)
Here are some pictures of out latest adventures......

7 years old...
Tomorrow my baby turns 7. As cliche as it sounds...where has the time gone. She is turning into the vibrant, energetic, amazing, intelligent, and beautiful young lady that I knew, from the very moment that the doctor handed her to me, she would be. I am so proud of her that at moments she takes my breath away. I am including some pictures of her over the years and a few of this years party......Hope you enjoy!
Crazy Friends
Ok so I used endearing words for my first blog to describe all my "people", or what I thought to be endearing. Let me just say that Crazy in my book is a HIGH compliment. So to all those Crazies.........please know that I LOVE ME SOME CRAZY!! Also just wanted to let you know, and you know who you are, (when I am feeling witty and charming I shall come up with a perfect nickname for you on this here blog...said in my best Earl accent!), that my friends are honest, fun, witty, loyal, and many other adjectives that I will save for the future!
So here's to the future of blogging!

The day I started blogging....
So today, due to my Amish friend (she really isn't Amish, she just doesn't have a cell phone or cable in her home so I joke that she is Amish) invited me for dinner and swimming. Me and my two girls went and we had the best time. She has 4 children and she is pretty amazing at the whole "Mother" thing!
I came home and looked at her blog, as I regularly do , and decided that I would try it.
I am the Mother of two wonderful girls, the daughter of an AMAZING woman, the Sister of some pretty incredible people, and the friend of some crazy folks. Not to mention the wife of a man that works harder than anybody around.
We are the owners(along with some others) of a restuarant and that basically means that my dear husband, which if you read this on normal basis- you will learn that that is what I call him all the time- My Husband, is on call ALL the time.
I am going to end this beginning of my blog with a couple photographs of my family and look forward to what this blog has in store for me..........
