Fun Times with the Schoolmeester's and Friends....

School has started and both girls seem to be really enjoying themselves!! They both have wonderful teachers and we couldn't be more happy! We also had a wonderful labor day weekend (though we missed Daddy terribly, he couldn't come due to it being a football weekend....but that's the Chicken Wing restaurant business in the middle of Gamecock Country).
We also attended our first Dutch Fork High School football game and it was.....well....interesting to say the least.  This is how it went:
*First the balloon man decided to stop making balloons one person in front of us after we had been standing in line for 30 minutes, (my friend's daughter was NOT HAPPY.....as to be expected).
*Then two grown men were fighting in the stands over the top of a woman holding her son. Classy guys. Highschool football seems a great reason to beat each other up!!
* Then Lily fell on our way down to the Elementary School parade and busted her leg up pretty good and I might say she handled it pretty well considering what happened next.....
* And the last and GREASTEST part of the evening was after My Oldest and her friend had spent 45 minutes making this beautiful banner celebrating their school and the USA (to commemorate September 11th) and they were PROUDLY holding their banner and having the best time....two other kids from another elementary school (that will remain nameless) ran through the banner and then stomped on it and ran off laughing. Serously it devestated the children.

But we pulled it together and walked in the parade with our banner and made our school proud! All five of the children with us learned a valuable lesson...Be the Bigger Person!!

The adults learned this...
*Next year we will hire our own balloon man to follow us around and make new balloons when ours pop and he will NEVER stop making them
*We will hire teenegers to stand in line for our food and drinks
*We will have the biggest, laminated, most INDESTRUCTABLE sign you have ever seen and we are pretty sure that that is in the PTO budget under spirit wear:)

Here are some pictures of out latest adventures......
